JABBAWOCKEEZ vs NUTSHACK
Got to chop it up with the homies from JABBAWOCKEEZ for a bit last week. Here's a quick flick for any of you that watched Americas best dance crew, you know them homies represent every time.
Mr. Hernandez's art has been called “Urban Native or Urban Aztec” as he combines traditional indigenous styles and themes with an urban street sensibility. His work utilizes bold line work, sharp colors, and dynamic imagery.
He earned a BFA in Digital Media from the San Francisco Art Institute, and studied painting with noted Native American artist Robert Penn, a student of Oscar Howe who is often referred to as the father of Modern Native American painting.
Hernandez works full time for The Filipino Channel in Redwood City, California as Art Director/Animator for the cartoon series "The Nutshack", continues to show his work in galleries worldwide, and also creates freelance artwork through his company, Immortal Studios.
